Masters of photography
Need a great resource for knowledge and information on the great photographers, then this resource is for you. I used this site quite a lot when I was studying my degree in photography and it proved a very helpfull resource.
This site has an easily navigational layout: click on the photographers name in the left bar and you are taken to the main resource page for thet photographer.
From Abbott to Wolleh its a great starting point for further research click the 3 pane navigational bar top centre and you are given the choice to source articles photographs or resources.
The articles section as the name suggests directs the reader to articles from various authors. The validity of the resources as far as academic research pertains I cannot comment on, further research is advised to answer this question for yourself. It is worth noting some of the articles are Wikipedia articles and a ssuch should always be viewed with caution as academic research quality. Some of the photographers are better known than others and include are the like of Bill Brandt, Ansel Adams etc.
So to sum up an interesting resource and a good starting point for further research or just general interest.
